Premium shielding gases
Air Liquide provides a wide range of percentage purity, adapted to your AM needs:
- Argon Industrial Grade (Ar ≥ 99,99%): For most common welding and wire laser metal additive manufacturing applications. It provides an inert atmosphere clean enough to protect the weld pool from oxidation in carbon steels and some stainless steels.
- ARCAL Prime (Ar ≥ 99,998 %): Argon undergoing stricter purification processes to increase Quality & Consistency, layer after layers.
- ALPHAGAZ™ 1 (Ar ≥ 99,999 %) Argon used when even the slightest trace of contamination could ruin a chemical process or compromise the structural integrity of a part.
